Finding old friends and classmates
Recently I sent everyone on my home email list an email to see whose addresses were current. It was quite a job, and I always seem to have trouble sending an email to lots of people at the same time. Even when I broke the list into groups of 50 my email program still sputtered and then died altogether. So, determined to fix my "e-lifeline" myself so as not to have to pay AT&T a repair fee which they now request, I changed all my passwords, thoroughly compared my email account info in my Outlook Express program, and finally, finally, my "e-lifeline" began running again. Friends I hadn't heard from in awhile answered my email inquiry. Just the other day an old neighborhood playmate contacted me and her husband grew up in the very area our family now lives. Other old friends have been linking with me on Linked In. Do I dare switch my email to MS Outlook for more flexibility? No, I'm not personally on face book, so don't look for me there. Just email me at jredlichspeaks [at] att [dot] net if you want to reach me. Subscribe to my web site if you want to find out when I blog, or post a new radio show. Please don't offer me any new software programs to learn. My screen reader and I are pretty tired of new "e-challenges". In my opinion, Best is going back to something tried and true--the telephone. Then we won't have to even mess with any "e-technology".
